Distribution of the seeds

The seeds distribution was done on 21st February, 2022 to 360 families of vulnerable refugees (new arrivals) from Rubondo sub-camp. The distribution targeted three villages Of Rubondo: Karitima A, Rwoma A, and Kisura C. 120 households from each village were served and every family was given 5kgs of bean seed and 5kgs of maize seed. This activity enabled 12 refugees to be employed as part time workers including the Chairmen of the latter villages.

TOOL KITS DISTRIBUTION

The outbreak of Covid-19 paralysed all kind of business within nakivale refugee settlement the reason why CEBUNA supported 150 young entrepreneurs with small businesses within the settlement through ACSIproject. The tool kits were given to the entrepreneurs who managed to resume their businesses in spite of the roadbloacks faced during the pandemic lockdowns.
